2 Peter 1:16-18
“I want them to be able to choose”, the Son said across the table of yellow glass.
“Then they will fail”, breathed the Father
“The dark will seem like light to them”, He continued
“And they will turn to lies and make them laws. They will convince themselves and convert others. “
“I will show them Myself”, the Son said
“And some will look past You”, the Father said solemnly. “To think…” He said looking out into the stars, “That they will think Us false. “
There are so many convincing lies the world offers that distract us from the truth of Jesus Christ. The lies separate us from Him, and while separated put us at danger. We have hope in the truth that we believe in. We do not have to be like those carried away by the lies of this world.
