1 Timothy 6:6

“Now there is great gain in godliness with contentment”

Interpretation: Sometimes we think contentment (being satisfied with your circumstance, the things you have, or where you are) is an impossible thing. Contentment is kind of close to thankfulness. When Christ is in us, and we are in constant prayer with Him, it is easier to look at where we are and see how Christ wants us to act in that situation. Being content may mean that we are lacking something we may want- but we are able to be confident that Christ will always provide for the things we NEED. We can also be encouraged that He is a loving Father and He loves to bless us with what we desire if in His will.
