Philippians 2:5
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus”
This verse goes onto explain the humility of Jesus. His act of leaving His kingdom to die for us shows us true love and the ultimate act of humility. He sets us- His creation, above Himself to come and die. The immortal one put on mortality. The strong one put on weakness. He stepped down into our world of sin to raise us up.
Application: read chapter 2 of Philippians, and pray for applicable humility in your everyday life.
