Romans 11:22
“Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.”
Interpretation: God is both gracious and just. We tend to overlook the just character of God the Father. We look around and see people that are successful in their lives even though they commit wrong. But God does not fail to execute His judgment and disciple. It is not our place to look around and see how God deals with people in sin. Our focus should be concerned with our own lives. Is Jesus purifying me everyday? Is my life pure and set apart?
Application: Pray for Jesus to reveal the things He wants to take away from your life so that you are more like Him.
