Proverbs 14
This proverb focuses on the ruin of pride, and being a fool. Pride is so dangerous; it is also in all of us. Selfishness, insecurity, disobedience- they are all pride in different forms. Humility is the opposite of pride and a characteristic of Christ. Humility is not just a request, but an action. Ask God to show you the areas in your lives where you are prideful. Ask God how to show you humility in a real, doable way. With humility you can be honored, but above all Christ is honored.
