Psalm 106:8
“Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake”
In a few verses before this it talks about how Israel did not remember how great and merciful the Lord had been towards them. They continued in their disobedience. But God was so gracious. Mercy is in His name, and He saved them-it is in His name. The Lord will not lie because He can not. He will not fail because He can not. Hi name is a rock, it is all the things His word says it is. So praise Him! The Lord will work through us if we allow Him, and abide in Him. He will fill us with His Spirit, and renew us. Regardless of what we are, or where we are, He can still do mighty things.
