Titus 3:9
“But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.”
Interpretation: The church has divided over so many meaningless disputes, and in that division so many people that need Jesus have been neglected. We do not need Jesus so He can prove our opinions about things correct. We need Him because He points us in the direction He wills us to walk in. His will is never for us to be in confusion or dispute about things that overshadow His grace. May we also know nothing besides Jesus and Him crucified. For in that truth is mercy, love, and grace.
