Joshua 8:1
Now the LORD said to Joshua: “Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; take all the people of war with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, his people, his city, and his land. Joshua 8:1
God tells Joshua repeatedly to not be afraid. God set land aside for Israel as their inheritance. The land was already theirs yet they still had to fight for it. The victory was already there they just had to take it. We have victory in Christ but that doesn’t mean that we don’t have to battle daily, but we have the confidence that we will always have victory in Christ.
