Psalm 108:1
“O God, my heart is steadfast”
Quick character study: David was a man who most people looked over because his potential was not seen by them. His dad considered him the least of his sons in every meaning of the word. Yet, the Lord looked at his heart and saw what He could make of him. He was anointed king, yet it would be years and years before he had a throne of his own. His youth was spent running in fear for his life, battles, and unrest. YET! His heart was steadfast before his God. Because his heart was the Lord’s he quickly was moved to repentance when he sinned, and he could boast in the Lord.
Look at your life. Plant yourself in the Lord and allow Him to root you so deep that nothing removes your heart from His hand.
