1 Corinthians 8:9
“But take care that this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.”
Interpretation: Paul has just addressed that food offered to idols has no real meaning if eaten because idols have no power. Such a simple thing confounded the church because they were letting the world’s convictions overshadow the grace we have in the Lord. However, Paul encourages them to be gracious to the weak in their faith, or even the unbelieving. Yes, we are free in Christ. But we also take on humility with Him.
