1 John 2:1-11 tells us that it is not enough to just say we are Christians and live in our own way. He says that if we say we are Christ’s, we are to walk and act as He did. Simply, we can not say we are Christians (a term that means little Christs) and live in the exact opposite way that Christ did. His way is light. Do you dwell in darkness? Do you say you love Jesus but hate the very people He died for? Let Christ illuminate your life with His love. In Him is freedom. If we say we abide in Him, may we walk like Him.
