Titus 2:12
“teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age”
Interpretation:
God knows the temptation that we face everyday in our lives. He does not expect us to get stronger over time to be able to defeat it- He knows we can’t. In Him we receive the power to live above the layer of scum the world has to offer. The age we live in is one of confusion and denial of all that is right. But Jesus is faithful enough, and strong enough to help us live as He desires- righteously.
